Private Instruction

Private instruction is an amazing gift for the beginning student as well as the more seasoned practitioner.  Together, we can address any personal issues or concerns and build a home practice that supports you, in your daily life.

It is also an opportunity for a new, and developing teacher, to explore the endless and ever-shifting world of adjustments. Learn how to observe and respond in a helpful, effective and loving way.  It is also a forum for any concerns you may have about the business of yoga.

Mysore Style Classes

This is the traditional approach to learning (and sharing) Ashtanga Yoga. This method fosters independence and encourages the student to be an active participant in the learning process. It also gives the teacher an opportunity to observe how best to serve the student and facilitate the development of their practice.

It is essentially one-on-one instruction, in a group setting. The correct movements, breathing, and other aspects of the practice are learned gradually, in a step-by-step process accessible to anyone. Students are able to practice independently, and at their own pace, while benefiting from the energy and inspiration of the other students in the room. The teacher is there to offer verbal, energetic and physical guidance specifically directed to each student.
